Un sistema molto usato per la comunicazione vocale quando si gioca in rete e' Teamspeak, questo programma infatti come saprete consente ad un elevato numero di persone in contemporanea, di giocare stando in comunicazione vocale.
Nella pagina di download potrete trovare il pacchetto di installazione per i tre maggiori sistemi operativi (Windows, Linux, Mac), inoltre per la nostra amatissima ubuntu potrete installare il programma semplicemente attivando i repository multiverse e digitando in un terminale sudo apt-get install teamspeak-client.
Come forse avrete capito dal titolo della news, c'e' un problema con la versione per linux, infatti il programma usa il motore OSS come driver sonoro, cio' implica la disattivazione dell'audio alle altre applicazioni, ovvero in parole povere se avete attivo Teamspeak (abbreviato TS) non sara' possibile sentire l'audio delle altre applicazioni, in quanto i driver OSS permettono l'esecuzione dell'audio ad una sola applicazione per volta.
Per ovviare a questo problema (ma non e' la soluzione per tutti) potete provare ad installare il pacchetto alsa-oss ed avviare teamspeak con il comando da terminale aoss teamspeak...il problema pero' e' che questa soluzione spesso non porta a risultati decenti, tanto che l'audio si sente a stento e in modo gracchiante (tipo effetto lag). Altro problema fastidioso e' il volume, questo problema e' risolvibile in Ubuntu installando il pacchetto gnome-alsamixer; finita l'installazione di questo pacchetto andare in "Applicazioni->Audio e Video", avviare Gnome Alsa mixer e attivare il microfono alzando il volume dell'uscita al massimo.
Per poter usare in modo ottimale Teamspeak con le altre applicazioni a malincuore temo che dovremo aspettare la versione 3 (attualmente siamo alla 2), che promette molto bene !

Senzameta quoto la news grande deficenza di TS sono i driver OSS. Ho provato personalmente la soluzione aoss ma senza risultati accettabili, l'audio si sentiva a strattoni! buona giornata!
