Mumble, alternativa a Teamspeak!

Mumble è un programma open-source che nasce per sopperire alle mancanze di Teamspeak su Linux, il programma è sviluppato anche per windows. Section "Extensions"
Mumble è basato sulle librerie QT ed usa come driver audio in Linux sia gli ALSA che Pulseaudio!
Una chicca per gli amanti dei particolari è che durante il gioco potrete sapere chi stà parlando seplicemente attivando l'overlay.
Per attivare l'overlay sarà necessario avviare il gioco da terminale digitando all'inizio del comando
mumble-overlay /home/tuonome/gioco/eseguibile.estensione
Le impostazioni si modificano da Configure -> Settings
È importante sapere che è possibile settare mumble in 3 maniere:
- Quando parliamo il programma si attiva e manda la nostra voce al canale.
- Per mandare un messaggio bisogna tenere premuto un tasto.
- La trasmissione della voce è sempre accesa.
Per il secondo punto può capitare che quando andate a impostare il tasto anche se voi lo premete mumble non ve lo fa settare. Ciò è dovuto al fatto che mumble si serve di una opzione di xorg per riconoscere i tasti.
Quindi per far funzionare tutto basta modificare il vostro Xorg:
1) Prima create una copia di backup del vostro xorg.conf
sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg-bk.conf
2) Adesso modifichiamo lo Xorg
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
3) Aggiungiamo queste righe alla fine
Option "XEVIE" "Enable"

Per installarlo sulla nostra amata Ubuntu andare a questo indirizzo è scaricare il pachetto debian per Ubuntu.
Questa guida è stata basata su una fatta all'interno del forum del clan di UrbanTerror di cui faccio parte (visto che come sistema audio usiamo mumble).
